:Why are they letting people who don't know the proper line lap without instruction? In my area, you can't get onto open lap track without being signed off on that specific track by an instructor at some point prior, whether earlier that day or last season or what not. it depends on so many factors. 1. how many cars are in a run group. Sometimes its better to bump a guy whos doing ok, into a faster run group... 2. who's running the event. Some just throw you out there by yourself. If you want an instructor you have to ask. 3. how many instructors are at the event. I guess those are the main ones. generally, if you have a good understanding of your car, and basically where you need to be on the track, they'll let you go solo if the traffic on the track is light. The traffic during that video seems as if it was light and safe. It's a nice video to!
